Sacramento Unit CHP Training

Description


Join us for an in-depth Safety Training Event hosted by CTA’s Sacramento Unit and the California Highway Patrol Commercial Industry Education Program on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with a Happy Hour event to follow.

The event will be held at CTA Headquarters and cover the following topics:

•    Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) 

•    English Language Proficiency (ELP)

•    Hours of Service (HOS), with details on Ag HOS

•    Cargo securement exemption for transporters of agricultural products

Lunch will be provided following the training. This event is open to CTA members and non-member motor carriers who are interested in joining the membership. Space is limited, so register today!
