Description: Your drivers are constantly on the move and aware that safeguarding their life and the lives of fellow travelers is a huge responsibility. David Stewart with Operation Lifesaver will present on the unique challenges and potential dangers drivers face at rail crossings such as the length of their rigs, winding up over the tracks, low trucks/trailer beds, etc. He will discuss how you can help your drivers safely navigate these challenges.
Before hearing from David Stewart, Adam Carney with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will give a brief overview of the First Observer Plus Program and Baseline Assessment for Security Enhancement (BASE) Program. Both programs are TSA security initiative products that are FREE to trucking companies.
