Why It's Important To Attend California Trucking Day 

• Every year, legislative proposals are introduced at the California State Capitol that can have an impact on the future of your company and the trucking industry. When a legislative proposal comes up that requires you to make an ask of your Assemblymember and/or Senator, having a pre-established relationship goes a long way in fighting for your business and the trucking industry!
• Your Legislators cannot know how a bill will impact your company and the industry if they do not hear from you. Without voicing your opinion, you allow for someone else to establish the facts that Legislators use to make their decisions
• If your company utilizes owner-operators, legislators want to hear from them about why they want to be owner-operators and how codifying the Dynamex Decision takes away their ability to work. To protect the ability of your owner-operators to continue to work as they choose and to protect your business model, we urge you to have your owner-operators attend California Trucking Day
