Cost: $149 per person for CTA Members, $249 per person for Non-Members
Description: This seminar discusses the elements and attributes necessary to manage an effective safety and compliance program in the trucking industry, and how to use them to alleviate some of the inherent stress. The program includes communication techniques, planning and presenting safety meetings, leadership skills, time-management, and accident/incident prevention and investigation. The course also provides direction on how to tackle FMCSA compliance factors, creating and implementing effective policies and procedures and OSHA-in-trucking issues. Registration includes a packet of reference material. A Certificate of Training will be presented to each attendee upon completion of the course.
