SAFETY & COMPLIANCE 101 FEDERAL MOTOR CARRIER SAFETY REGULATIONS (FMCSR) COMPLIANCE
This 8-hour seminar presents a comprehensive overview of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (Title 49 CFR), including CSA/SMS and FMCSA interventions and compliance investigations.  This seminar, revamped for 2020, provides participants with knowledge and understanding of regulatory content and processes, as well as compliance techniques.  The seminar emphasizes some of the most stringently enforced safety regulations: Hours of Service (§395), Controlled Substance and Alcohol Testing (§382); CDL Standards and Requirements (§383); Driver Qualifications and Files (§391), and CMV Inspection & Maintenance (§393 & §396).  It is an excellent resource for those who are new to safety and compliance, as well as a good update and refresher course for veterans.  Registration includes a packet of reference material.  A Certificate of Training will be presented to attendees upon completion of the seminar.  NOTE:  This is an 8-hour seminar, presented in two 4-hour sessions.  For continuity, it is highly recommended that participants attend the entire seminar in one day.
