This seminar is an excellent way to become proactive and to protect your company and drivers against the costly results of HOS violations. You will be provided with understandable, real-world training on the federal hours-of-service regulations, the proper use of driver logs, how to effectively audit logs and tips to manage your ELD program. You'll participate in driver log reviews and exercises: learn how to train your drivers to log legally, and to identify inaccurate entries and false logs. In addition, you'll learn key issues that raise red flags for enforcement and investigators, as well as receive an update on recent and pending changes to the regulations. Registration includes a packet of reference material.  California intrastate hours of service rules, Title13 CCR 1212 are also discussed.  A Certificate of Training will be presented to attendees upon completion of the course.

Exemptions for Agriculture HOS

Join us for a supplemental session on the unique AG Hours-of Service exemptions.  Harvest season is starting now, and with it comes the unique challenges of getting produce to market at the peak of freshness.  Does “field packing” affect your HOS?  Does what happens during the Arizona growing season really stay in Arizona?  How have the interstate AG HOS changed recently?  Have the California intrastate HOS changed with them?  What are Special Situation Farm Products?  Can you afford to have a load placed out-of-service roadside for a violation?

This supplemental session is a must attend add on for drivers and managers involved in the AG harvesting industry, as we address your questions about this unique segment of the transportation industry.
