Learning Schedule & Session Description

The Leadership Challenge: Resilient Leaders in Turbulent Times - September 1
Resilience is defined as the capacity to adapt well in the face of difficulties. Everyone experiences and responds to stress and challenges differently. Becoming more resilient not only addresses difficult circumstances but contributes to emotional intelligence and awareness resulting in becoming stronger and more adept. In this learning experience, you will explore practical strategies to lead situationally, understand the impacts of change, and assess your tone as a leader during uncertain situations. 

CTA 360: Exploring How You Can Engage and Get Involved with Your Industry - October 6
In this highly interactive learning experience, you will explore the inner workings of CTA including its important and varied functions serving our trucking industry. You will also learn key terms, expand your peer network - connect with fellow industry professionals; and explore the unique nature of volunteer-based organizations. Put your seatbelt on for this fast-paced adventure and leave equipped with a solid understanding of your association and the important role it plays.

Bright Spots: Leading, Rewarding and Encouraging those Around You - November 3
Any organization's most valuable asset is its collective team. Successful leaders know how to create an environment that encourages and supports employee initiative, involvement, and commitment. This program focuses on what employees really want; how to create a motivating environment; how to empower and involve team members; examines individual vs. team rewards; and outlines 101 ideas for motivating and rewarding your team.

The program is limited to 30 participants to ensure that everyone has a meaningful and substantial experience. 

Admission to the program will be made on a first come, first served basis.
