WEBINAR: Compliance for Carriers: Automating Risk Management Data to Improve Fleet Safety and Decrease Costs
Compliance for Carriers: Automating Risk Management Data to Improve Fleet Safety and Decrease Costs
Tuesday, September 22, 2020
After a vehicle crash, incident or an OS&D claim, carriers should be interviewing the driver and analyzing data to determine contributing factors. The cause may have been driver fatigue, level of experience, commodity type, lack of training, road conditions or a myriad of other influences.
The information gathered is important to determine if there was an underlying relationship to other safety events. However, many times, data needed for drawing conclusions are contained in disparate systems and requires manual entry into spreadsheets or third-party databases. But, in a tight economy, carriers are struggling to maintain their safety standards with a reduced workforce and don’t have the staff to collect and analyze such data.
This session will highlight how carriers can use new solutions to efficiently identify root cause, manage safety events, mitigate risk, and reduce costs.
Topics to be discussed:
– How to integrate root cause data from disparate back-office systems.
– Ways to mitigate additional exposure through adherence to DOT regulations.
– What automated systems offer compared to manual systems (e.g., spreadsheets).
– How to use predictive modeling to increase fleet safety and reduce operational costs.
