Presenter: Mike Tunnell, Director, Energy & Environmental Affairs, American Trucking Associations 
Mike has worked on energy and environmental policy and research for ATA and the ATA-affiliates American Transportation Research Institute and Western Highway Institute for more than 18 years.
Mike assists in the analysis and development of energy and environmental initiatives that impact the trucking industry. He participated in the establishment of ATA’s Sustainability Plan and provides industry support on federal and state proposals ranging from emissions and fuels to water and waste. He has managed research projects evaluating how technology and vehicle configurations can be used to improve efficiency. He has also served on research committees involving vehicle noise, truck size and weight, diesel fuel, and air pollution emissions.
Mike lives in Sacramento which provides an up-close perspective on the unique environmental initiatives taking place in California. He has previous experience in the fields of air quality, transit and civil engineering. He received a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a master’s degree in city and regional planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.



Presenter: Justin Bardin, Senior Project Manager with the eMobility team at Southern California Edison
Justin Bardin is a Senior Project Manager with the eMobility team at Southern California Edison (SCE). In this role, he leads SCE's Charge Ready Transport program focused on installing transportation electrification infrastructure for medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles. Previously, Bardin served as a nuclear submarine officer in the United States Navy.
Bardin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy, a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California.

Presenter: Jesus Sosa, Advisor with Southern California Edison
Current projects include Commercial OEM outreach and Medium/Heavy Duty vehicle grant tracking. In his previous roles, he served as a Sr. Account Executive at SoCalGas. Jesus has an MBA & Masters of Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in Business Administration from DeVry University.
